Community Nights bring people together through shared activities, discussion, music, creative expression, practical information, and opportunities to build supportive relationships.
Every event is labelled
You will always know what kind of event you are coming to
This matters enough that we label every single event as one of four types, before registration opens. Nobody should arrive at what they thought was a community evening and find a worship service.
Type 2
Optional faith-based element
A community program where a faith component is clearly identified and entirely optional. Declining costs you nothing.
Type 3
Explicitly Christian event
The purpose and content are described honestly before registration, so you can decide with full information.
Type 4
Worship-focused event
Presented under Bringing Our Worship, not as a general community service.

What a Community Night may include
- Community conversation or facilitated discussion
- Creative performances or workshops
- Youth and family activities
- Information about local services and resources
- Volunteer recognition
- Food or refreshments where these can be safely provided
- Optional prayer or faith reflection, only when clearly disclosed in advance
Location, age requirements, capacity, cost, registration details and the event type are confirmed and published for each night.
Accessibility
What we publish before each event
Event information includes accessible entrance details, seating, washrooms, transportation, scent or sensory considerations where relevant, captioning or interpretation availability, and how to request an accommodation.
If information you need is missing from an event listing, ask. A missing detail is our omission, not your problem to work around.
Counting rule
Results, and how we count them
Verified counts of Community Nights delivered and participants attending are being established per reporting year.
Attendance at a worship or entertainment event is never reported as the number of people who received charitable services — unless a distinct service was actually delivered and counted separately. Conflating the two is one of the easiest ways for a nonprofit to overstate its reach, and we do not do it.
Safety and conduct
Every event follows venue rules, volunteer conduct standards, safeguarding requirements, emergency procedures and respectful participation expectations.
