Get involved
Volunteers help us prepare and deliver programs, support participants, manage logistics, provide professional expertise, strengthen communications and build community relationships.
Religious belief is not a requirement for community-support roles. Faith-specific requirements apply only to roles involving worship leadership, prayer ministry or religious instruction.

Roles
Roles vary by location and program. Each posting states the date, schedule, location, estimated hours, training requirement, and whether the role is one-time, short-term, recurring, remote or in person.
Faith-specific
Process
Six steps. Submitting an application does not guarantee placement, and we will tell you either way.
Protection
Roles involving children, youth, vulnerable participants, money, confidential records, driving, health support or unsupervised access may require identity verification, references, police or vulnerable-sector screening, professional credentials and additional training, subject to local law.

Accessibility
We welcome accommodation requests relating to the application, the training or the volunteer role itself. What we can offer depends on the essential duties, the location, safety, and our reasonable accommodation process — but the conversation always starts with you telling us what you need.
Ask about a role, the screening required for it, or an accommodation you need. Submitting an application does not commit you to anything, and we will tell you either way.
