Our story
Service is where
we started.
Favored Generation grew from a Christian commitment to care for others. That commitment takes practical form through mentorship, essential supplies, learning resources and community gatherings.
Today, our work connects people and partners in Canada, the United States and Nigeria. The Thrive Community Hub brings our six community programs together.

Our general community programs welcome people of all beliefs and backgrounds. You do not have to attend worship or prayer to ask for practical support.
For people who want to take part, Bringing Our Worship offers dedicated Christian worship gatherings. We describe those events separately so everyone can choose what is right for them.
A team effort
Volunteers, donors and local partners help us organize activities and reach people. Some contribute time or professional skills; others provide funding, supplies or a place to gather.
